WooCommerce abandoned cart recovery
Bring abandoned WooCommerce carts back, by message
Miruto is a free WooCommerce plugin. It sees every cart and checkout as it is filled in, works out why a shopper stopped, and writes to them on iMessage, RCS, WhatsApp or SMS. Email is the last resort. You pay a share of the orders it brings back, nothing else.

70%
About seven in ten online carts are abandoned, according to the average of 50 studies collected by Baymard Institute. Most of those shoppers wanted the product. Something got in the way: a declined card, a delivery option that did not load, a question nobody answered.
Three shoppers, three reasons
A declined card, a missing parcel locker, a script error. See how Miruto finds the reason, writes the right message and tells you what to fix.
Set up in four steps
A setup checklist opens right after installing and shows what is left.
Install the plugin
Upload the zip under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and activate it. Updates then arrive in WordPress like any other plugin.
Press Connect
In WooCommerce → Miruto press Connect. Your WordPress admin becomes your Miruto account. No passwords to create, no API keys to copy.
Import your history
Earlier carts and orders come in without duplicates, so the agent knows who already bought and never says "your first order" by mistake.
Turn the agent on
Pick the checkout notice, the quiet hours and the tone. From then on every lost cart is looked at, and the ones with a reason get a message.
What you get in the admin
Overview, Sessions, Conversations, Flows, Errors, Import and Settings, right inside WordPress. Every conversation is there, with the feeling the agent read and the revenue it brought back.

Sees the whole checkout
Every field the shopper filled, the last one before leaving, payment and code errors, the device and the language.
Knows where they came from
Campaign, ad click, referrer and landing page, tied to the session and to the recovered order.
Writes where people read
iMessage, RCS, WhatsApp with opt-in, then SMS. Email only when there is no phone channel.
Reads the mood first
Four replies are drafted for each message and scored for how the shopper will feel. Only the best one is sent.
Respects a no
Quiet hours, two messages at most, stop in any words. Opt-outs are honoured at once and kept.
Hands over to you
When a shopper needs a person, the chat lands in the Conversations tab. Reply on the same channel, or hand it back.
Miruto vs a typical abandoned cart email plugin
Most WooCommerce abandoned cart plugins send a reminder email with a link back to the cart. That works for some shoppers. Miruto is built for the rest: the ones whose reason for leaving needs an answer.
| Miruto | A typical email reminder plugin | |
|---|---|---|
| Who it reaches | ●Every cart and checkout with a contact, from the first item in the cart | ●Usually shoppers who left an email |
| Channel | ●iMessage, RCS, WhatsApp, SMS; email last | |
| Message | ●Written for this shopper and this problem, and a real conversation if they reply | ●A template with the cart link |
| Finds the cause | ●Flags checkout errors and the field people stop at, and proposes a fix you approve | ●No |
| Price | ●€0 setup, €0 monthly, a share of recovered orders | ●Often a monthly licence or plan |
What a message looks like
Illustrations. The first message on a phone channel has no link; the cart link comes after the shopper replies.
Questions
Is the plugin free?
Yes. There is no setup fee and no monthly fee. Miruto takes a share of the orders it brings back. If it recovers nothing, you pay nothing.
Does it work with the WooCommerce block checkout?
Yes. Classic and block checkout are both supported, and the plugin is compatible with HPOS order storage.
Will it slow my store down?
The tracker loads only on the cart and checkout and sends small batches in the background. The heavy work runs on Miruto's servers, not in WordPress.
Can I keep my current abandoned cart email?
Yes, but give it a longer delay than Miruto's first message, so a shopper never gets two reminders at once.
Which countries and languages?
Messages follow the language of your store and your shopper. Quiet hours follow the shopper's own time zone.
Let the next lost cart come home
You pay only for orders Miruto brings back.
