How Miruto talks

Is a direct message too much?

Fair question. A message on someone's phone is personal, and most automated messages feel like spam. Miruto works differently: it follows strict rules and reads how the person feels before it writes a single word.

The rules it always follows

These are built into Miruto. Some you can adjust in the plugin, none can be turned into spam.

01

Quiet hours

No messages between 21:00 and 09:00 in the shopper's own time zone. You can change the hours.

02

Two messages at most

If the shopper does not answer, Miruto writes at most twice (you can set 1 to 4) and then goes quiet.

03

Not the same person every week

After a conversation, the same number is not contacted again for 7 days by default.

04

Stop in any words

“Stop”, “don't text me”, “jäta mind rahule”. Any clear no ends it at once, in any channel.

05

First message without a link

On phone channels the first message is plain text. The cart link comes only after the shopper replies.

06

Honest about being AI

It can say it is the store's AI assistant, never pretends to be a person and hands over to your team when asked.

07

No fake urgency, no guilt

Every draft goes through a filter that blocks pressure, invented scarcity and guilt. Low stock is mentioned only if it is real.

08

Discounts only your way

Never, only when asked, or when the agent sees it helps, always up to the limit you set.

09

Consent the way you need it

Choose privacy-policy, soft opt-in or explicit opt-in mode. WhatsApp is used only with the shopper's opt-in.

Flows you can switch on

Each flow is on or off in the plugin under Flows. Miruto signs every message with your store's name.

Checkout recovery

For shoppers who started the checkout and left. Helps with the exact thing that stopped them.

Cart recovery

For known shoppers who left products in the cart before checkout.

After purchase

A few days after the order (5 by default): did everything arrive, a tip for using the product, later a review request if things went well. No selling.

Win-back

For earlier buyers who have not ordered for a while (60 days by default): a friendly check-in or a reminder when the product may be running out.

How well it knows the customer

Before writing, Miruto has the whole session in front of it:

  • Where the shopper came from: ad, search, newsletter, campaign tags
  • What is in the cart and what they looked at
  • Which checkout fields were filled and where they stopped
  • Code and checkout errors they ran into
  • Verified paid orders by account, email and phone
  • Your store's delivery, returns and payment options

And what it will not do

It does not assume. If no earlier order is found, it never says “your first order”, because the shopper may have bought with another email. It only says “welcome back” when the history is verified.

It does not match shoppers with social media profiles or ad audiences. It uses what happened in your store.

Not an annoying bot. An EQ model.

EQ means emotional quotient. Most AI writes from facts: cart, product, discount. Miruto first recognises how the shopper most likely feels, then decides whether to write at all, what to say and how. A person who hit an error does not want a sales pitch. A person who is annoyed wants to be left alone. Respecting that is what makes people answer, and buy.

Frustrated

Acknowledges the problem, apologises once, fixes it and offers a person. No selling.

Hesitant

Calm, no pressure. Removes one doubt with a concrete fact, like delivery time or returns.

Worried about price

Respects the budget and shows the total clearly. No upsell, no urgency.

Confused

Simple words, one step at a time.

Distrustful

Plain facts: who the store is, its policies. No hype.

Annoyed

One short apology and an easy way to stop. Nothing else.

Miruto recognises 11 states, from neutral and curious to rushed, disappointed and annoyed.

What happens before one message is sent

Reads the feeling. From what the shopper did (errors, repeated tries, long pauses) and what they wrote.

Writes several drafts. Each with a different approach: a helpful question, reassurance, a fact about the product, giving space.

A judge scores them. For helpfulness and emotional fit. Pushy, long, generic or tone-deaf text loses.

Guards filter them. No invented facts, no pressure, no claims about order history that are not verified.

Learns from the answer. Replies, stops and orders teach it which approach helps which feeling.

Questions

Will my customers find this pushy?

Two messages at most, never at night, stop in any words, no pressure. Most shoppers who left because of a problem are glad someone noticed.

Can I see what it sends?

Yes. Every conversation is in the plugin and the console, with the feeling it read and the approach it chose.

Can I set the tone?

Use the Miruto voice or describe your own brand voice in Flows. The rules above stay the same.

Recover sales without annoying anyone

You pay only for orders Miruto brings back.
