Miruto talks to shoppers in the name of your store. These rules keep that conversation welcome, lawful and good for every store that uses Miruto. They are part of the Terms of Service.
1. Who you may contact
Only shoppers who gave their phone number or email in your own store’s cart or checkout.
Only with a lawful basis: the shopper’s consent, or the rule for existing customers where the shopper bought or started buying from you, the message is about your own similar products and the shopper could refuse when giving the number and in every message.
Never numbers or emails that were bought, rented, collected from other websites or shared by another business.
2. How Miruto writes
The first message names your store, says why the shopper is contacted and how to stop (reply STOP). Miruto adds this automatically.
Any reply that means “stop” ends the conversation at once and the number is not contacted again by your store.
No messages during quiet hours set in the plugin (21:00–09:00 by default, in the store’s time zone).
At most the number of messages set in the plugin (two by default) for one cart, and no follow-up if the shopper seems annoyed or asks for space.
If asked, the agent says it is the store’s AI assistant and offers a person.
3. What you may not use Miruto for
Products or services that are illegal where you or the shopper are, or that the channel forbids (for WhatsApp: the WhatsApp Business and Commerce Policies, for example weapons, drugs, tobacco and vaping products, adult content, gambling without a licence).
Misleading claims, fake urgency, fake reviews, or prices and discounts that are not real.
Pressure on vulnerable people, debt collection, political campaigning or messages unrelated to the shopper’s order.
Collecting passwords, card numbers or other sensitive data through messages.
4. Use of the platform
Do not try to get another store’s data, to bypass the agent’s limits or guard rules, or to make the AI fixer install code you have not reviewed on a site you do not control.
Do not overload the service, copy or resell it, or reverse engineer the console.
Found a security issue? Tell us at hello@miruto.app and give us reasonable time to fix it before making it public. We do not take action against good-faith research that follows this rule.
5. What happens if the rules are broken
We may pause sending for the store, ask you to fix the issue, or suspend the account as described in the Terms. Serious or repeated abuse, such as messaging people without a lawful basis, can lead to immediate termination.
6. Report a problem
If you received a message from a store using Miruto and think it was not allowed, reply STOP to end it and write to hello@miruto.app with the store name and the date. We look into every report.
